Dr. So gained supervised experience during her graduate training working with adults in college counseling centers and outpatient community mental health. She has had the opportunity to work with undergraduate, graduate, and International students of various ages, cultural backgrounds, and presenting concerns such as depression, anxiety, identity/diversity issues, family issues, academic issues, spirituality, adjustment issues, sexual assault, and relational concerns. She additionally has had the opportunity to provide psychotherapy and crisis intervention to the homeless and low-income population in Los Angeles treating a diversity of mental health concerns including trauma and substance abuse. Dr. So completed her formal internship training at the University of Kansas Counseling and Psychological Services providing individual and group therapy, crisis intervention, and ADHD evaluations.
