Introducing Mental Treat’s New Scheduling Feature

We’re excited to announce the launch of our new scheduling tool! With this feature, therapy sessions are more accessible now than ever before. Previously, professionals and clients could only schedule therapy sessions unofficially through the Mental Treat messenger or by using an outside communications channel.

Now, Mental Treat has a built-in scheduling tool that allows clients to schedule online and in-person therapy sessions right from a professional’s profile. Both the client and the professional will be notified of the new session, as well as any changes made to session times.

This feature is especially helpful for professionals who offer therapy sessions on the side and need to block out very specific time slots.

Check out how scheduling works below!

How Does Therapy Scheduling in Mental Treat Work?

Mental Treat professionals have the ability to turn their calendars on or off. When the calendar is on, clients have the ability to schedule appointments via the professional profile.
Even if a professional calendar is active, clients will still have the ability to message you and inquire about session schedules.

Are you a Mental Treat professional? Setting up your professional calendar is easy and can be managed from your Profile settings!

How Do clients Schedule Sessions in the Professional Calendar?

Once the professional calendar is set up and saved, the availability will be shown on their profile. To schedule a session, all a client needs to do is click an available time slot, select if the session is online or in-person, and book the appointment.

Mental Treat will send an email confirmation to the client and the professional. Either party can cancel the appointment or re-book it if necessary.

We hope you enjoy this feature! If you have any questions or feedback, please feel free to contact us at support@mentaltreat.com
