Treatment is tailored to each individual person and is a collaborative effort between client and therapist. A holistic therapy approach is utilized, which is the combination of contemporary and alternative treatments with evidence-based practices to assist a person in achieving balance in mind, body, and energy. A deeper understanding of the whole self can lead to increased self-awareness, self-esteem, self-acceptance, and emotional/physical well-being. Treatment is grounded in Polyvagal and Attachment Theories. Treatment approaches can include: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Parts Work Therapy, Somatic Psychotherapy, Emotional Freedom Technique (tapping), Neuro-Nutrient Therapy (the use of amino acids, vitamins, and diet changes), and/or Brainspotting.
